Osteaoarthritis (OA)

Osteoarthritis (OA), also called Degenerative Joint Disease, is a common form of arthritis that occurs when the cartilage between the joints breaks down (degeneration). As with Arthritis, there are a variety of underlying factors that can cause Osteoarthritis such as obesity, a sudden injury or aging. This type of joint pain usually affects the spine, knees, hips, and hands. It is a chronic condition that affects a person’s mobility and causes them pain/inflammation.
